We have had the opportunity to engage in challenging projects, here are some of them.
This was an inclined rooftop lined with corrugated metal sheets, the challenge came in with absolutely no availability of electricity whatsoever to work our power tools, so we had to temporarily setup the solar power plant on the ground to make our own electricity. The solutions worked out perfectly. The plant has been working since then without errors.
This site was situated within a densely populated area with now enough are at the rooftop for a 10KWp solar power plant with the conventional approach, as the client also wanted space for personal use. So we decided to go with a raised structure, making the lowest end of the solar panels 7 feet from the roof.
This installation site had a non-uniform roof, with raised structures blocking the continuity of solar panel strings, also the client demanded that the solar panels be situated at the center of the roof away from the edges. We designed new custom mounting structures for this site, the project was successful and the client has recommended us to his network.
This was a residential society wanting to replace its older street lighting system with a new solar street lighting system. The major obstacle was that majority of the street lights were always in the shadow of the sun. We successfully installed a central off grid solar power system with AC LED street lighting.
This was a pilot project in Indrapuram, Ghaziabad. The requirement was that the e-Rickshaw would never need to be plugged to the wall. So we provided a solution of four 160Wp i.e. a total of 640Wp solar panels mounted on the roof of e-Rickshaw. Now it runs successfully without ever needing to be plugged in.
The Sarpanch in the rural areas of district Baghpat, U.P. conduct medical camps on a frequent basis, at posts with no electricity connections. So Opensun has committed itself to provide basic lighting and with a DC fan to help the staff running the camp operation with the help of small and handy solar power systems.
